LUDINGTON — A Ludington man accused of four counts of criminal sexual conduct involving a victim under 13-years-old, appeared in 51st Circuit Court today. Benjamin Michael Bentz, 33, of 202 Fourth St., Ludington, was arrested Nov. 7 by the Ludington Police Department and charged with three felonies of CSC first degree and one count of CSC second degree. Each count allegedly involved a child victim.
CSC first degree alleges sexual penetration took place while CSC second degree alleges sexual activity.
Bentz’s court appointed attorney, Ryan Maesen, requested a 30 day adjournment from Judge Susan Sniegowski because he was just recently assigned to the case, taking the place of David Glancy.
Bentz will appear again on April 7 at 3 p.m.
